Description

The NCYM Committee on the Care of Yearly Meeting Records encourages all Meetings to deposit minutes, records, and all officail documents for safekeeping in the Friends Historical Collection in the Guilford College Library.  The committee serves in an advisory capacity to the Librarian of the Friends Historical Collection regarding the NCYM Archives.

Meetings can see which records are already kept in the Friends Historical Collection by searching the database of Quaker Meeting Records.  Contact the Friends Historical Collection Librarian and Archivist if you have questions about your Meeting's records.

Researchers using the Friends Historical Collection Research Room, Guilford College, Greensboro, N.C.Meetings are encouraged to deposit monthly meeting minutes, ministry and counsel minutes, and membership records regularly.  See the policy and guidelines for recommended procedures for keeping your records and information about access, use, reproduction, and retention.
