NCYM Intern Program

North Carolina Yearly Meeting Mission Statement
North Carolina Yearly Meeting of Friends seeks through the power of the Holy Spirit to equip and energize our meetings in their witness to the love, message and power of the living Christ encouraging Friends to translate our faith into practice.

The Intern Program's connection with the Yearly Meeting mission statement could not be any clearer.  The intern program equips and energizes local meetings both by developing new leaders in ministry and by providing opportunities to experience, on a short-term basis, the benefit of an additional minister.  The desired result of this program is that our collective "witness to the love, message and power of the living Christ" might be greater and more effective!

Who can be an intern?

The opportunity to serve as an intern through North Carolina Yearly Meeting is extended to any graduating High School senior and up in age.  Opportunities to serve in all avenues of ministry will be extended or explored.  Some possibilities are workers in areas for children, youth, seniors, pastoral care, Christian education, music, or missions!
